Current and extensive experience at a manufacturer as an industrial maintenance tech required. 4 day/weekday or night shift available.
The Industrial Maintenance Technician-Manufacturing will repair and adjust equipment, machines, and defective components, replacing worn parts such as electrical and mechanical components or equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, overhauls, and troubleshooting on production equipment. This includes gearboxes, pumps, air/hydraulic cylinders and lines, process rolls, reclaim and extrusion equipment, utility equipment such as air compressors and water chillers systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and overhauls on production and process equipment.
- Maintain and support all safety guards and comply with all safety practices/policies. Utilize safe work practices such as LOTO, Arc Flash, PSM and required PPE.
- Assignment of Special Task(s): There are occasions when this position will be asked to perform a special task based on a special skill. This task would be a project that would be beyond the normal scope of daily preventive maintenance or routine repairs.

Requirements:
- Experience repairing and maintaining equipment.
- Experience using measuring devices such as tape measures, micrometers, calipers, and squares.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and read blueprints and technical drawings, such as machine, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Preferred certifications:
- OSHA approved forklift certification
- Scissor/Platform Lift Training/certification.
- May require fire Brigade Me membership and/CPR/First-Aid Training.
