Proven manager and developer of global teams managing all aspects of ERP systems including tracking ERP incidents, projects, and service requests required.  Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, D365 experience required.  Global travel.  Relocation paid.

  • Oversee the day to day operations of the Dynamics AX ERP system for a global manufacturing company based in San Marcos Texas.
  • Manage a global team of AX development and functional analysts.
  • Manage third party integrated solutions for shipping, warehouse management, CRM, Salesforce Automation, etc.
  • Oversee the development of ERP educational material and programs.
  • Work with business representatives (BPOs) to manage customer requirements and expectations, including prioritizing small, medium and large-scale system implementation or enhancement requests. (Must be able to distinguish user interface request from underlying true needs)
  • Gather detailed requirements and complete appropriate documentation to reflect the scope of engagements (business requirement document, functional requirement document, etc.)
  • Participate in the ERP Steering Committee.
  • Perform evaluation, selection, installation, management, and documentation of business systems or enhancements for the entire organization.
  • Build project plans and schedules for approved initiatives.
  • Co-ordinate with other IS groups to ensure that approved initiatives are delivered on time within budget.
  • Demonstrated business systems planning analysis skills
  • Manage project team members, external vendors, including consultants, contractors, etc. engaged on specific initiatives
  • Provide periodic status updates to senior management.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration or related discipline
  • 4+ years working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 with proven experience in Accounting / Finance (AR/AP/GL, Cash), Purchasing Ledger, Sales Ledger, Product Builder, Time / Project, and CRM modules. (AX2012 experience is beneficial.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills, interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in both technical and business settings.
  • Self-motivated, creative, passionate and able to acclimate into a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Visio, and Publisher
  • Self-directed and independent worker who can also lead cross-functional and cross-organizational project
  • Demonstrated experience in business process development and improvement.
  • Effective use of business modeling techniques: Process, workflow modeling, and use cases.
  • Experience in eliciting and documenting requirements resulting in quality deliverables with limited direction.
  • Strong working knowledge of all aspects of Systems Development Life Cycle, Change Management, Release Management, Configuration Management, Quality Assurance, and Testing, Requirements Gathering, Project Management, and Systems Analysis and Design.
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast pace environment.
  • Technical understanding of business application systems and their underlying hardware
  • Familiar with industry-standard SDLC methodologies, tools and techniques
  • 20% travel; must be able to travel internationally
