We are seeking a candidate who is wanting to advance their career in the tax field. This candidate should have 5 or more years of tax preparation experience in a public accounting firm. Our ideal candidate should be organized, motivated, have excellent work habits, a willingness to work overtime to meet deadlines and qualified to:
- Prepare complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, s-corporations, partnerships, trusts, and state tax returns
- Assist with tax projects including tax planning and projections
- Assist with staff training
- Identify and research complex tax issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting
- 5 plus years of tax experience in public accounting
- CPA or EA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Familiarity with Quickbooks
